Some ideas do not need to be replaced. They need to live on. When Pete Sans developed the Aula system, he began with a few fundamental principles: structure, proportion, economy of resources and adaptability. Furniture was not meant to be a fixed object, but a tool capable of responding to different uses, spaces and ways of working. ARIDI.01 draws on that same intelligence to build a contemporary system. We have revisited the original design, not to reproduce it, but to understand what made it enduring. Structural clarity, construction logic and the intention to reveal only what is necessary remain the guiding principles of the project. From this foundation, the system grows, and its material expression evolves through the purity of polished stainless steel. A single structure makes it possible to create desks, meeting tables and executive desks, individual or group configurations, and a range of solutions adapted to architecture and new ways of working. What was once a family of products now becomes a tool for interior projects, supported by a systematic approach and industrial solutions. We update the requirements, materials, technology and spaces. The designer’s essential idea remains the same: to build with clarity and allow every element to find its place. ARIDI.01 does not revive a form. It carries forward a way of thinking.
